👻 BOO! "Ghosts" out now! Just in time for Halloween 👻

Just in time for the spooky season, I’m excited to tell you that my new single, “Ghosts” is out right now and available to listen to wherever you like to stream music!

I’ve always wanted to write a song like this, weaving together tales of multiple people, and when I had a chance and very weird encounter with a dog walker outside York Minster, the first verse virtually wrote itself.

Ghosts tells four stories. Stories of four quite disparate people, linked only by their shared sense of loneliness and the idea that for them, the passage of time changes nothing.

I’m really proud of this song. It was a joy to write and more of a joy to record, working with producer, Dan Webster, double bassist, Sam Jackson, and super-multi-instrumentalist Joshua Burnell who contributed drums, organ and piano to this track.

Ghosts has already had a bit of radio play, which is always such a thrill, having featured on Countryline Radio and Dickie & Dan’s Americana Show on Jorvik. I’m told it might be getting a spin on the BBC this weekend.

This is the fourth single from my upcoming debut album, “I Told You A Story”, which I can’t wait for you to hear. Stay tuned for more on that later.
